The Bugatti Veyron is produced since 2006. It is available as a coupe. Only 300 of these cars are going to be built.

Veyron is powered by a mid-mounted supercharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, developing 1 001 hp, which will get you from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. It takes only 7.3 seconds to reach 200 km/h and 16.7 seconds while this super car runs at 300 km/h. Bugatti Veyron smashed the world top speed record, instantly establishing a milestone in the evolution of the automobile. Mighty engine delivers awesome power very smoothly. British engineered transmission is also super smooth. The Bugatti Veyron comes with a unique 7-speed dual clutch sequential manual gearbox.

The Veyron handles better than any VW Group car. Steering is very direct and gives plenty of feedback. Suspension set up helps to make a hefty Veyron much more nimble car than you'd expect. The ride is firm and can become harsh over urban lumps and potholes.

The 8.0 W16 is much calmer than it could be imagined. It sounds like a couple of big V8s rather than a 1 000 hp monster. The Bugatti is so refined that the only thing telling you about the storming acceleration is the speedometer. The only disappointment is a noticeable tyre noise.

The Bugatti Veyron is one of the most expensive cars in the world. It sells well because of the limited production numbers, however there are only few that can afford to buy it. Residual values are going to be rock solid.

Veyron's interior is much better than most of the contemporary supercars. All emphasis is stressed on luxury, rather than lightweight materials. The cabin is fully trimmed with leather, Alcantara and milled aluminum. All the materials are matched in a tasteful way. As you can expect from a company, which builds Audi and Bentley limos, the build quality of the Veyron is superb.

There are plenty of headroom inside the cabin. Seats and steering wheel are adjusted manually. Unfortunately all-round visibility is poor because of the thick pillars and lack of the rear quarter windows.

There are virtually no storage spaces inside the Veyron, but does that really matter if you drive such car.

Bugatti Veyron comes with all the safety features you might expect from a top-of-the range car. There are smart airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction and controls, powerful brakes and much more to avoid the accident or to reduce risk of an injuries in case the accident has happened. You will find most of the equipment that luxury cars have.

Forget the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT, or even the McLaren F1. These supercars certainly are second-grade comparing with the Bugatti Veyron.

Advantages: Faster than any other production car. It is also relatively easy to drive, has a stylish interior and is very exclusive.

Disadvantages: Price of the car and it's production numbers mean that it will be available only to few bilionaires.

Verdict: Don't forget to breathe while driving the best supercar ever built.

Also consider: Koenigsegg CCX, Saleen S7.
